Bye Manila, Hello Japan!

by - Thursday, June 02, 2016

Hello there you guys! I think by the time you get to see this queued post, I'm most probably on flight or have landed in Japan already. I'm feeling excited and anxious all at the same time.

Excited and happy because I'll be able to be with my family again after many years (i.e. the feeling of wholeness) and be able to do, see, visit, and try the things I've been meaning to ever since I left Japan; Anxious and sad because I'll be physically away from my other half (life partner), valued friends, and the environment I'm accustomed to: which is pretty much like feeling incomplete again.

But that's not the thing I wanted to focus on and talk about. I've always known that this day will come so it isn't totally a shocker. If anything, I think what actually surprised me is that I really never thought I would miss school, classmates, or Manila PH for that matter, this much! Haha!

Anyhoo, enough with my babbling. This personal post is meant to target some changes that will happen in from this day forward.

First, I entrusted my Canon DSLR and tripod to my boyfriend in Manila so you can already expect low quality blog photos from now on, (not until I get my hands on a new camera). I've been lemming to switch to another type of camera, so yeah.*

Second, luckily, we will be able to review and try more Japanese branded skincare and makeup! But the catch is that it can only happen after I secure a couple of my blog-related tools of trade like:
- of course camera, tripod, good lighting, nice backdrop, funds (MONEY MONEY MONEY), laptop and internet.

I have my sturdy pink laptop with me and a good internet connection so those two wouldn't be much of a problem. I've always been keen with my blog's photos (I bet you already noticed that) so having a decent camera, a tripod, GOOD LIGHTING, and a backdrop is really, really important for me.

For now stay posted for the new and improved! I'm so stoked to see how this small internet space of mine will grow and improved as years go by. Initially, I just wanted it to be like a sort of online beauty magazine where some of my friends can learn some makeup tips and tricks. But lately, I've been thinking of sharing even just a tiny bit of my personal life just so I can connect and feel with my readers too. What do you think?

Hope you're having a great day like I do! See you on my next update! :)
