CANMAKE Color Stick 07 Apricot Review

Another concealer to review, finally!
Canmake Color Stick
Ever since I rode out from a recent acne breakout, I find myself using concealers more often as I would line my eyes. Although totally unplanned, without any research and blind faith, I went to Loft and went straight to Canmake.

Well, Canmake is always my first option when it comes to quality but totes affordable makeup. For example, a mascara that will cost me JPY 1,000-2000 from other brands will usually cost me JPY 600-800 in Canmake. Such a great deal!

But is it worth it? Now, let's go down to the nitty-gritty.

"Instantly covers flaws to give you a brighter-looking complexion! For skin that looks even more beautiful than bare skin."

Well, it was love at first swipe since peach/salmon concealers have always been my best bet when it comes to concealing dark circles. Canmake Color Stick in Apricot just got the ideal orangey tint in it; the color is not too overpowering and it blends seamlessly with my foundation.

Speaking of blending, Canmake Color Stick is very creamy. It glides on my skin like a butter. It doesn't crease nor cake and is very easy to work with.

Since Canmake Color Stick's consistency is light and creamy, I have no problem when it comes to layering the product. It pretty much zaps dark circles in one to two swipes but I suggest building up the layers if you want more coverage especially on dark stubborn spots and zits.

Canmake Color Stick is pretty much so-so on this part. It doesn't promise to be totally sweat-proof and waterproof so I'm not complainin'. I'll give this concealer 4-6 hours tops depending on how oily and humid it can be for that day.

Given that it's pretty much colder here right now, it stays on me for 8-10 hours (+ take note that I also stay in an air conditioned room). What's great about this is that it doesn't leave streaks and it fades gracefully throughout a long day.

Overall, Canmake Color Stick is a fairly good product especially for anyone who's on a tight budget but wants something worth every penny. It's indeed a good buy considering the price tag plus it is pigment-free, unscented and paraben-free.

You can get Canmake Color Stick in most drugstores Japan-wide for JPY 580 (excluding tax) and PHP490 in Landmark Department Store, PCX, and PUREBEAUTY in Manila.
