Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color Swatch and Review

by - Wednesday, July 24, 2019

I've always admired women who could pull those matte pouty lips so effortlessly. How could you possibly do that? Mine always get flaky and the lipstick just sit in between my unsightly lip lines making my already dry lips stand out even more. But I've always loved trying out matte lipsticks, I believe it's one of the makeups that gives a headstrong impression, it's empowering (just like eyeliners!) Anyway, today's review is one my many attempts to get along with matte lipsticks, let's get started.

Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color Swatch and Review
Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color
Etude House Mini Two Match is a customizable magnetic mini lipsticks (easy and convenient to bring around!) According to Etude House, the formula is a mix between moist and matte. It promises to last long without the dryness. What's even more interesting is it comes in 5 different finishes (Matte, Cream, Glossy, and Pearl) and whopping 30 colors and 1 lip concealer shade to mix and match.

SHADE
The magnetic case that holds the two mini lipstick is sold separately. For this review, I got Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color in #BR403 'Baby Bambi'. It's a slightly more brown kind of burgundy red, still red but with a hint of some brown in it and I love it! Check out other shades here.

TEXTURE AND FINISH
Here you can see that Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color Baby Bambi isn't exactly flat out matte and it isn't totally glossy either. It clings to the dry areas of my lips so I top it off with a moisturizing lip balm. I'd say if you have pretty healthy lips, this lipstick is quite easy to apply but since I have rather dry lips application was pretty much a tug-of-war.

What I Love About Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color?
- convenient, easy to carry component
- lipstick shades mix and matching made quick and easy
- lipstick can be paired with a lip concealer, gloss, and color enhancers (two in one compact container)
- available in 20 flattering shades, 5 color enhancers, 3 lip toppers, 1 lip balm, and 1 concealer
- pigmented

What I don't love about it?
- Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color tugs to my lips upon application (but then again it maybe just my overly dehydrated lips)
- you only get 2.4g amount of lip product and the magnetic component is sold separately
- nothing extraordinary when it comes to staying power, shade range, etc.

Overall, I'd say Etude House Mini Two Match Lip Color is a good product particularly if you're always on the go and likes bringing a lipstick or two. The size of the component is pretty nifty and easy to carry around. If you like gradient lip makeup then you can get one shade and partner it up with the lip concealer, if you like it glossy then go for the lip topper, so many combinations and possibilities.
